As I sit writing, I am only on page 44. I feel compelled, though, to write this positive review of James Jones’ Total Survival!Now, I consider myself a pretty savvy survivor. I have enough items, know-how, and mental toughness and life experience to get through most situations which hard times and unexpected catastrophes might throw at me. I like the matter-of-fact manner and no nonsense approach that Mr. Jones brings to the survival table. And, despite the fact that I feel comfortable with most of my preparations, there is always something one can learn from someone who has been involved in the prepper community for as many years as he has.I’m certain he covers this particular point later in the book, but if there’s one thing I feel compelled to stress is having enough water! Water is our life source; without it we are doomed to quickly die! It’s really that harsh and that simple. If you haven’t started gathering water and lots of it—get started! Anyway, check this book out! I think it’s an invaluable source of quality information.
